Mod idea: Morale mode
Health is nerfed so that enemyโs do 10% more damage with very low amounts of health pickups around the map. Potion buff so that one potion heals 5 health.
Now here is the interesting stuff:
Itโs basically a combo system e.g If you do kills in a row (starts at 3) the game gives you a morale boost of 10 per kill (morale goes up infinitely). Moral also gets buffed a bit like +10% damage reduction. Remove all morale pickups.
This basically motivates players to play faster and go for huge killing sprees instead of just slowly walking through levels .

I don't think I've ever played on any difficulty except cero miedo. For 20 waves the biggest challenge was, due to that, scarecrows, because they literally deal like 80 damage at full morale. They never deal like 7 damage, it's always just accidentally getting close to them and then getting a face full of buckshot

That is possible because the RNG was based off ticks and the tick always started at the same time.
I am fairly sure that DUSK does not use ticks though.

Everyones first map is awful, use it as a test ground, experiments, you will bin lots of maps but you`ll get better and more experienced along the way, learning better methods and how to use the tools. Mappers are always learning, testing once available, is key.

For that map, the strat I did was grab the crystal of madness, burst it in front of the rapid fire rune, lure last enemy into the cloud, refill ammo, health, pick up potions to get over 100, then kill last enemy
Swap to riveter, pick up rune, and unload on enemies that spawn in front of you so you can get some room to maneuver
Then just dodge
