just kinda run in a circle and get everyone to shoot each other
then when the majority of the arena dies because theyre all killing each other
you just use the riveter and spray everything thats still alive
the crystal just makes it way way easier
typically infighting is a domino effect, once you get the first few monsters to infight before you know it everyone's fighting each other
bcuz the monsters stand really close to each other
so if one monster hits the cluster of monsters who are killing each other at point blank the 1v1 turns into like
2v1
and then it just kinda grows exponentially and then everyones killing each other
On my Duskmare intruder playthrough
i tried to limit my quicksaves
like i only saved before really hard fights
or after i got a keycard
so typically it was like 4-5 quicksaves per level
it made me a lot better at the game

well 4-5 isn't a lot compared to a game like doom 2016 where theres like a few checkpoints per level
its a lot like a checkpoint system
i mean if you die ur still going back like 2-3 minutes before in the level
i only really quicksaved so that i dont have to replay the whole deadass level when i get owned by some stray bullet

that's kind of the reason people shy away from duskmare
it's not even remotely fair, not even intended to be
for actual gameplay it's awful, the only purpose is to slog through it, and if you save through it, it doesn't even really matter since you can always end up with that stray bullet hitting you. It's a speedrunner's difficulty, really.
It has a purpose, but for gameplay, that's not it.
