i think it's pretty impossible to not make them to.
if there's a group and you buzz through it, there's going to be friendly fire
but i don't think friendly fire revokes Pacifist
since E1 and E2 went quite smooth, and there's lots of places with groups of enemies of varying sizes
i don't think i finished any level with the kill counter being 0/X on any level
and still got pacifist
i did play on duskmare though. should probably figure those levels out on accessible or something first, although the difficulty shouldn't matter

I did what it said to, but I didn't get it.
I don't think there's anything special about the chomper one, but killing him didn't give me anything.
And I figured the Intoxigator one only checks to see if you're intoxicated when you get the last hit on him.
So it's a wee bit fucky.

So the fact that he'd return to a neutral state once he kills you means you technically fulfilled the requirement, thus awarding the achievement.
Since I think he spawns aggro'd and the only time he isn't aggro'd is either if you're dead or if he's crystal'd.
