the people involved with dusk dont use visual scripting of any kind, but i can tell you that our unreal games (spacemen and amid evil) both use visual scripting with no issues at all

@sacred bay thanks very much! Yeah after finishing A Wolf in Autumn I was kind of burnt out doing those sort of games so I took a short break and messed around with a few prototypes. Eventually Dusk came out of that.

Replaying from beginning... man I love the tight, almost Wolf3d like hallways that happen in Dusk. Take the verticality out and makes some true horrific moments. The chainsaw guys are a much more viable enemy in tight hallways, for ex.

Hey guys, not sure if this is something that might need to be looked at, but is it "safe" to have the game run at such a high framerate during this FakeDOS sequence? What I mean is, it's not really good for the graphics card is it? I know it lasts for about 10-15 seconds or so, I was just curious. Obviously when it goes to the main menu, it caps back at 60.

Speaking of performance, I am sometimes having fps drops in the game, despite the geforce fps counter showing many hundreds of fps. My specs are

i7-3770
gtx 1060 3gb
16 gb ram

People said they are running the game well on much weaker hardware so can someone please help me figure out what's going on? The drops usually happen when it's raining, when I'm flipping and sometimes for seemingly no reason.

did you extract the Patcher?

run the patcher, it should create a logfile with the last line being "done"

then you need to create a Mods\ folder on your dusk folder and copy any mods you want to use there
