I've always thought most coop games would benefit from allowing friendly fire after beating a mission or whatever, like there only being room for 1 on the helicopter or something and having to duke it out.

hope im not buttin in: after tf2 kinda shit the bed i dropped much interest in pvp stuff altogether (i need to play more duskworld though because i like arena shooters, at least the idea). only bigger shooter that holds my attention nowadays is r6 siege and that's because of the cooperative/tactical aspect, other than that i love me some killing floor 2 and payday 2 when it was still kicking. overwatch ain't my thing but im fuckin glad games like dusk exist that keep the whole arena shooter thing going, there's quake champs too but duskworld is a more stable playing field i think since you don't have champion abilities or w/e

I was never really into more complex / competitive online play. Even in 1.6 times, I wasn't really a CS guy. DW is nice tho cuz there are stilla lot of people just trying it out now or happy to play a game without the need to be super competitive about it

I can only encourage younger people who weren't around at the time to get GZDOOM and something like DOOM explorer for an easy set up and an accessible way to play it, like QUAKE with any kind of sourceport. I feel DirectQ is the easiest to set up but is obviously quite limited. Blood remake coming soon as well. Getting back to DUSK tournaments, I'd give it a shot as well, even though I suck quite bad
