I just joined this discord, so this may or may not have been discussed already, but a few days ago I bought Dusk for the second time (loved it, but drunkenly bought it when I shouldn't have one night), and was having some really bad frame rate drops. It wasn't an issue my first time playing it. I have a 1080ti and Ryzen 1800x. Several others on steam said the same thing running the same GPU. One user found a fix. No developers have commented on the post since then so I thought I'd post the fix here. It's worked for everyone that's tried it so far. I went from 30-40fps to a steady 140fps after doing it.

@flint reef just wanted to let you know that there is a better fix than that for the fps issue. If you go into your nvidia control panel, and disable window scaling, which is ON default, it should clear up any issues you have. This is the fault of msoft and nvidia more than it is dusk or unity

Oh nice. I'll definitely do that. After I saw that comment I realized that other unity games were doing the exact same thing. I had been playing Yonder a lot lately and had the same issues. It was easier to ignore in that game though. Dusk is so fast paced that it made me sick playing it with low frame rates

I've sketched out and tried some different thing in Mapedit and have officially decided; I'm making a secret level, short and sweet, for our Blood mod inspired by Dusk Episode 1... I'm pretty excited to make it. This isn't our biggest surprise, which I'm swearing to secrecy (we discovered something I've never seen in a Blood map)... but it'll be a ridiculous arena battle, things flying in and out, trucks crashing through the corn... and Caleb hanging on for dear life.
