i do have trouble differentiating the white and red cultists in colored rooms tbqh
the goal should always be to have distinctive sillouhettes so even in action or distracting visuals you can easily differentiate and take action

but colored rooms can sometimes confuse you for a moment, especially if they're a bit further off in a crowd of enemies

#

and knowing when you need to avoid homing missiles is pretty important imo

its really not a major problem, but i just remember watching a lot of design studies on early TF2 (which before all of the cosmetic fuckery was probably one of the kings of FPS visual design), they described how since every class had incredibly distinct abilities, some able to kill in a single or two shots if they get in range, the player needed to be able to distinguish them from a distance
this is why i think the cowgirl design is genius, as it's an enemy that can easily screw you over in just a few hits, the very unique sillhouette and height makes it easy to spot even in a crowd
you can easily look into a wave of enemies and go "oh shit, yeah, need to target/avoid that"

So, there are several bossfights in the game

I doubt any more weapons will be added, there are already a plethora of them to begin with. Modding will make this possible in the future. More powerups might be coming in Episode 3.

There is already multiplayer, and I believe co-op is on the map.

Still messing around with slopes and polyobjects for the details like the church roof, but all the spawns, weapons, powerups, ammo, geometry, jump-pads, and other cool stuff are in there. Never made a Doom multiplayer map before, so I'm sure it'll play like ass, but this is a lot of fun to do. Wish there was a decent snow texture, might just go with grass.

So I remade "Holiday" from Duskworld in GZDoom Builder. Took a few hours, and still needs some work (still learning polyobjects and such), but I think I got pretty close for Doom. Play with QZ or GZ and turn on dynamic lights. I just wish Doom had good snow textures. Oh, midi is the endless theme from Dusk.
