There is also a low spec mode for those with lower end systems
You can get 60fps on integrated graphics

Doom had 4 player co-op. That was nuts on nightmare difficulty. We got pretty far too. I'd honestly just be as happy with 2 player co-op. Local and online preferably, because I've had games only do one or the other, and it sucked.
Just to be clear Co-op is a post-launch feature

There was a lotta time spent tweaking those to perfection
they work for the diffculty sections etc.

i was SO happy about it the first time i played it
I prefered the cleaner fonts without all the effects and stuff on them
this is interesting, with this plugin system I mentioned in #general-art I can make mini patches for Dusk
its not like its a big deal, but its been through like 40 iterations
so, say there's a major bug that only some people are experiencing when the next build is out
one of us can make a small patch that you literally just dump in a "plugins" folder
and see if it fixes it

and i know there is a workflow to go from hammer bsp > obj

the plan is to hopefully do an asset pack for mappers
which will be fully supported by trenchbroom etc

there are some talks about doing an in game, or in unity level editor, but that is far from reality yet
also there are free versions of Probuilder, and sabrecsg if you want to work directly in unity
but the idea is we want to support the mapping tools you already know and love
so that you can do your best work

i have tips for map designers to keep in mind when making maps for dusk
would be good to know
specifically, there are very unique mechanics to duskworld!
things like the slide mechanic
which allows you to make tight vents or small holes in walls to slide through and escape enemies
or teleporters, which carry projectiles
boost pads, which also boost projectiles
crossbows that shoot through walls
so making markings on a wall to tell players "fire here"
hehe the teleporter is something i made small mod for doom
there are a lot of little unique things that you can do with dusk
it doesnt work quite how you would expect actually
these are interesting little mechincs
projectiles keep their momentum appropriately
so if you shoot into a portal, it will keep the same global direction coming out of the next tele

this is true for players entering as well

Just tried running Dusk in WINE, runs great and is a loooooooot of fun. If a native Linux export is possible atm without changes to the code, you could upload it to a beta branch and I (and possibly others) could test it, if you want early feedback. So you can get an estimate on how much work there is for a native release.
linux is currently being discussed but i don't have any details to give out at this time
yeah I know: that's why I thought, if exporting for Linux is possible without (or at least without too many) changes, a version could be uploaded, so you can gather feedback on, how much time it would cost and if it is worth it.

exporting isn't an issue. there's just some opengl quirks that need to be sorted

yeah you certainly wont be getting the source, however, you can hook into unity fairly easily, and mod from there
