I'm not sure how to make behavior less random since it seems like there's no set order that things execute so my plan of seeding the randomizer at the beginning of the level doesn't actually work out

I came to show my support and for a key to test a build. Strafe is such a dissapointment, and then LGR gave Dusk the 90s game blessing. After I discovered this game I was hooked. If I didn't have another year left in college, I'd apply for a job today haha.

They had consistent artstyle
the idtech ones kinda where
Blood and Quake had much more believable level design
Dusk isn't getting abstract until episode 3
I recall it being stated that it should feel like it's gradually getting more insane the deeper you go
so having the general theme in mind an most certainly help with building a MP map for dusk
especially for inspiration on layout
you greybox out a map layout and make sure you have a good map, playtest it a bunch, iron out its flaws, then apply the theme
adjustments can be made afterwords once you have a working map to fit the theme
this si a stupid fucking arguement. no shit you apply it after but having one in mind can help.
