@ruby pewter I've had to work with the original FPS Creator (GameGuru used to be FPS Creator: Reloaded) for a commercial game before, and let me tell you that it's horrible

the source code is an absolute mess, and it's written in an offshoot of BASIC

I think 90% of my time was spent making the thing not crash at every opportunity

Disable dynamic lights? Crash
Disable shaders? Crash
Change graphical quality? Crash
Change a random irrelevant setting in the config? Crash

Plus the entire source code is a single 60,000 line file

and when they moved it from Google Code to GitHub they posted it inside a zip file in the repo, instead of directly inside the repository :v
