ok, that's a good thing, lemme look for the usual troubleshooting stuff rq lol
- If you are using a modded client, try using the vanilla client.
- Log out of your Microsoft or Mojang account, close the game, and log in again.
- If you are using a wireless connection, ensure that you have a stable connection to your router.
- If you have a large server list within your multiplayer menu, try reducing the number of servers on that list.

there are some free ones to download, like Proton or Nord
the api link was to check if you were automatically IP banned by their ddos protection (which you weren't), and if you were banned, it would have that instead when you try to join the server
if it doesn't work, I'd make a ticket to support
