They did announce this change (as well as further announcements for changes they've made to it.)

Fair, they did do testing without announcing it but when it did officially roll out, it was announced.
When it did roll out, they actually saw more profit from it (so it was actually beneficial for them if people want Minehut to stay up.)
They can't really just add and remove repeatedly, it needs to be a consistent income. Having the custom plans cheaper will only force them to change it back, since voting would've easily bypassed that.
I understand it's not something people want, even the admins do not want this, but it is necessary if we want Minehut to continue running.

you don't need to join to vote. also voting doesn't really benefit them much to be giving away a lot of credits with it
even a small increase like that would add up over time. also voting before was 25. they aren't gonna decrease it and increase it back over what it was before. they dont want people to sustain plans from just voting like it was before.

25 credits would get you a custom plan and more easily, which is not wanted. Changing something "so little" will have drastic unwanted effects, and will only harm Minehut

you cant get any custom plan with voting anymore. also just cause they had it before doesnt mean they should still do it now. they were losing tons of money before. they dont want that to continue happening

Ranks do give you loads of ads, which is the very thing people buy them for, so I'm not sure what the deal is with "not having cool perks"

ranks are mainly for server owners. not regular users. would be interesting if it had more perks for regular owners. but dont think regular users will still buy it.
the only times you'll see stuff like that happening is late at night. any other time is fine. also not sure what that has to do with this

Also, either way, this still has nothing to do what the topic is. I'm just going to say this, boredom is just not an useful foundation to make changes on. Minehut still requires a consistent income (and more of it) to run, if the time limit hadn't been made, it would've sunk faster. I get that people don't like it, nobody does, but it is a necessity.
