my server just shuts down for no reason without leaving an error message in the config

If it happens periodically, it means you’re running out of ram. Delete some worlds, delete some plugins, set a smaller world border, or upgrade your plan

If it happens at startup everytime, then wait for it to shut down, retrieve your logs, post latest.log here
