I've set the spawn using the /setworldspawn command, and when you join the server for the first time you spawn on the right spot, but when you die, you get teleported onto the roof above the spawn. Can someone give me a quick fix?

The roof above the spawn are glass blocks if that does anything

I'm not a skripter so frankly I have no idea wtf I'm doing. Do I just have to create a file under the Skripts folder and then write in it? 
or is it a bit more complicated

okay yeah so I've confirmed I set up the skript file correctly by making a short skript, it's definitely the command that's wrong
I think it's the %player% part, as the text is grey

on respawn:
teleport player to {spawn}
all is good now 👍
