Two factor authentication

Hey guys!

I have a Nintendo account I made 2018 containing my digital copy of Smash. I stopped using my switch for a while and was required to log in a few weeks ago but it requires authentication through the Google Authentication app.

I’ve since swapped phones so I thought I just have to download the app and connect the same mail address I have for my Nintendo account but no matter what code I put in it’s wrong.

I’ve reached out to Nintendo to ask them to delete my 2FA entirely but it’s been two weeks and I haven’t really gotten anywhere. I just wanna play my smash - is there any easier way to sync the Authenticator to my account?

How did you reach out to Nintendo customer support? Which region are you from?

I’m from Sweden, I sent a ticket through their support website. I filled in that I was from Europe and then Sweden

They sent you an email confirmation of the ticket yet?

For some reasons, their email system can be super slow at times.

Yea, last I heard from them they were gonna “escalate the information received to the correct department” but that was four days ago and no updates. I’m probably just being hasty but it feels so brain dead not being able to solve it on my own haha
