So, i'm trying to redownload sonic mania. It says I have to have this software first. I go to the EShop to redownload the game once I'm there it says "Purchased" I tried redownloading the DLC and there was no change it still said the same thing.
What do I do?

Interestingly you have the same problem with someone else

It maybe because the game is owned by a different account. The first account that login and own that game will be designated as the original owner and can download the game. This is to prevent buying the game multiple times from multiple accounts, as there is game-sharing between accounts.

There's also an issue with connection sometime. You can try restarting your Switch first, then enter DNS like below after.

• What's DNS? How can it help?
･ Domain Name System (DNS) is an internet system akin to an address book.
･ Using a better Public DNS service may improve connection speed.
･ Google's Public DNS service is often recommended, which is what we will use in this guide.

• How to change Nintendo Switch's DNS settings:
･ From Home Menu, navigate to System Settings ⚙️ > Internet > Internet Settings.
･ Select your network under Registered Networks.
･ Select Change Settings > DNS Settings > Change it to Manual.
･ Set these settings as follow:

  • Primary DNS: 008.008.008.008
  • Secondary DNS: 008.008.004.004
