Hello, I just got my switch 2 last night at GameStop at the midnight release. When I got home and was setting it up, I found out that the switch 2 has a different SD card than the switch 1. I swear I thought I saw an article saying that they would use the same but I guess I was wrong. Does anyone know a way that I can transfer the data on my switch one SD card to the new switch 2 micro SD express?

The switch uses a regular MicroSD card
While a switch 2 ONLY uses a new NVME based MicroSD Express card
So the switch 2 just won’t work with the regular one.

Finally, you indeed can transfer all your screenshots from switch 1 micro sd card to switch 2!
Navigate to Screenshots tab and an option should be there to do it, you just gotta plug in the Micro sd card from old switch to the switch 2
