Smash and Mario Kart are both elite, but without NSO i'd say Smash could be better

Late reply, but Smash Bros and Mario Kart i think are great for either couch or single player, so if you can get both, get both.

Side note: i'd recommend getting Jamboree instead of Superstars if you want to get a Mario Party 👍 . It's more recent and more complete feature wise.
