#Any worthwhile Sonic games on Switch?

Colors ultimate isnt like launch anymore, if you mind 20 bucks physical (Depends where you are buying at, i got it a year ago so it must be cheaper) and a NOT SO FAST Sonic (They didnt fix most bugs where you just fall to oblivion and Sonic takes the game slowly) get it.
I would tell you to get Frontiers, but i am still to buy it. Heard it was mid.
There is a new game with Shadow the Hedgehog right?
Game looks pretty dead last time i checked on SteamDB but people say its good, never played it but its a Sonic Generations remaster with some Shadow levels
Was Generations decent?
Never played it, says to be a great game.
77 on metacritic, i dont think its that bad unless Sega managed to make it terrible.
What are you talking about Generations is one of the most acclaimed sonic games And you clearly haven't played Shadow generations It is far more than just a few levels with shadow. Some of the best level design In the series Do recommend.
Frontiers is good Maybe not so Polish, but as complete package, it's a great game, a decisive It's either for you or it's not. I recommend playing the demo before purchasing it But The demo only scratches the surface Has a really fun story And incredibly replayable levels Rough around the edges, not fully optimized on switch runs at 30 With lesser visuals.
But worth playing If switch is all you have.
Seems worth it it seems https://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/nintendo-switch/sonic-x-shadow-generations
I 100% of both parts you will not regret it!
Frrrr
That game is heat
Best sonic game ever
Sonic gens 9/10 shadow gens 9/10
Together they 10/10
That's what I'm saying!
Seems like I'm getting Sonic X Shadow Generations then
but that's good for 3D Sonic, any recommendations for modern 2D Sonic?
FRONTIERSSSSS
combat is awesome
exploration is awesome
its not that bad on switchhhh
Did it get the necessary patches?
patches?
its not unplayable
its very playable
Ppl love mania the most
But if your someone like me who felt left out I didn’t know the references
Get origins
It jas sonic 1 2 and 3
and dlc
It’s amazing
sonic mania
Yeah, I'd say Sonic x Shadow Generations and Mania are your best options.
Origins is nice, but I'd say to get it on sale. Same with Superstars - I loved it, but I'd say it's more worth $40 than $60. Colors is probably in that camp too.
The Sega Ages ports of the first two Sonic games are fine, but there's really nothing in them that you can't get from Origins. If you HAVE to have the original experience for Sonic 2, it's on NSO, and let's be real, you don't need the original Sonic 1 experience.
Forces is... fine. Had potential, didn't capitalize on that potential well. If you absolutely HAVE to get it, don't get it on Switch.
Generations has 2 gameplay styles, Modern Sonic and classic sonic
Sonic mania is your best option 👍
Second one being sonic x shadow generations
The rest of the sonic games on switch are.... a mixed bag so to speak
I'd actually say second best would be Superstars, since Sonic Generations' Classic Sonic feels off
How?
The physics are a bit weird, there's very little momentum play
It's kind of a cross between the two where there's not a lot of momentum, but you can get some crazy speed with the Spin Dash button
Yeah, that's how it always was in Gens
Ok
It's a case where rolling down hills isn't the recommended way to get speed like in the normal Classic titles
Fair, tho also Modern and Shadow Generations is literally peak 3D and with Mania as 2D
Its a good mix of the two
