Eshop or Physical?

this is kinda less of a specific game recommendation and more of asking for advice on where or how u guys save the most when buying switch stuff?

I got a switch for my friend, and i wanna buy her animal crossing plus the dlc. but it’s like 60 dollars for the base game everywhere…
i wanted to also get her an official pro controller and sd card, so it’s looking like I’m spending around 150 more dollars just for her to play one game to its fullest :(

I don’t have a car so i walk everywhere, which is fine if it’ll save me some money, but do you guys recommend any stores (physical or online) that end up having good deals on these products? or should i just suck it up and break out the money?

Idk if animal crossing goes on sale but I've seen other games on sale on bestbuy or amazon before

a switch game even on sale should be enough for amazon free shipping

AAA games do go on sale sometimes, just rarely on eshop. You have a better chance at real or online retailers than eshop

and physicsl copies are the one that goes on sale more

I don't think DLCs go on sale but it's possible

This time of the year isn't any particular sale season but if you see a couple sales on dekudeals which shows sale history, I'd say it's worth to wait for one
