not opposed but I think I'm wanting something more active/participatory lol

couple things I'm thinking about but hesitating on:

dead cells: looks good but have heard it gets repetitive fast. might get anyways bc on sale

oddysey: not the hugest mario person but I'm still open to it

borderlands: looks fun, on sale, hope it's a good port

hollow knight: just not sure if the metroidvania type style is for me

Persona 5 Royal if you like JRPGs

it's got puzzle dungeons and turn based combat as well as other things

a lot of dialogue tho

Fire Emblem Engage has my favourite combat of all time but 3 Houses is overall better for first playthrough at least. I just love turn based

Actually active games are more on PC and PS than Switch tbh

I own a Hollow Knight copy and I'll say that it's a really good and challenging game although the controls can be kinda hard to master they're very simple to understand

I ended up picking up dead cells bc I've enjoyed similar roguelikes and it was on sale lol
