Hi everyone,
I just really would like some game recommendations based off of the games I enjoyed previously. I’ve been kinda stuck in a rut and I would really appreciate it.
I will list out below aspects of games that I like and dislike to make it easier and also a list of games that I have played and enjoyed.
Aspects of games that I generally like: Puzzles, Mystery, Riddles, Turn-Based Combat, 4X, Strategy, Management, Medieval Theme, Magic, Single Player, Simulation, Good Stories, JRPG, Tactics
Aspects of games that I generally do not like: Shooting w/ Guns, Real-Time Combat (some exceptions), Multiplayer (some exceptions), Platformers, Sci-Fi (some exceptions), Cooking, Rogue-Like, Games with No Story, Puzzle Games with Nothing Else (like I like Professor Layton but I don’t like Tetris), Bullet Hell, Farming Sims, Horror (some exceptions)
Here are some games I like and dislike to give you better ideas. Some will not be Switch games mainly because I want to kind of give an all-encompassing view of games that I like.
Favored Games: My all-time favorite game franchise is Fire Emblem with Awakening being my favorite game. My other favorite games are Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Sid Meyer’s Civilization, Sims, and Crusader Kings. Other games I’ve really enjoyed are Baldur’s Gate 3, The Nonary Games, Triangle Strategy, Octopath Traveller, Not Tonight, Yes Your Grace, Elder Scrolls 3-5, and Etrian Odyssey. Also, there was this mystery/puzzle game called “The Case of the Golden Idol” I recently played on Steam that I super loved and if there’s a game similar to it on the Switch, please let me know!
Games I Tried but Disliked: Stardew Valley, League of Legends, Lots of Zelda Games (Trust me, I have tried VERY hard, but I absolutely cannot get into Zelda.), Undertale (I liked the story but had to watch it on YouTube because I really don’t like playing the mini-game battles), Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon
If you can think of any games on the Switch I might like based on these, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
