need help picking a game

So, in canada, tears of the kingdom is 100 bucks, but it's just 1 game for me to play, i can also get breath of the wild for 50 bucks and mario odyssey/minecraft for 50 bucks too. What should i get?

I think TOTK is the way to go. Its difficult to compare between the two games (totk vs botw). In terms of core gameplay they are similar, but the bigger map and new abilities more than make up for it. In terms of replayability at least, TOTK will be far better in the long run provided that you are interested in building all sorts of stuff with the ultrahand abilities. That being said, I am likely very biased towards this title since it was the sole reason behind my entry to the switch ecosystem.

If there was one drawback regarding TOTK over BOTW , it would likely be performance related. Its not bad by any means. Considering the switch hardware, this is very impressive. However, if you were to compare with its predecessor, both rendering resolution and frame rate tend to drop more because of the ambition behind it. This is not at all a deal breaker as it is constrained to more demanding scenarios. Basically, if you think its going to drop frames, its going to drop frames. It just does so harder because of the vsync implementation. If you are not sensitive to either of these little nitpicks, maybe consider getting TOTK 😄

I would get botw and odyssey. botw is essentially the same game as totk but with totk having a lot more condensed content. Then later you can get totk and you will have played the games and experienced the stories in order.

and botw is kinda like totk
