3rd party controller, super hard to diagnose because we don't know enough info about it, unlike official or more common controllers

#

I can only advice you to unpair it from the console following the steps below

HOW TO DELETE & RECONNECT CONTROLLER PAIRING

§ This is a method to reset controllers pairing information and can fix various controllers' connection issues. If you do not have a functional right Joy-con, you can use a different controller such as a Pro controller.

※ With the Switch console in handheld mode.
1. Detach/Disconnect all the Joy-Con and controllers from the Nintendo Switch console.
2. From the HOME Menu, select System Settings ⚙️ > Controllers and Sensors > Disconnect Controllers.
3. Hold down the “X” Button on the right Joy-Con until the blue circle is fully illuminated.
4. Attach or connect any Joy-con and controllers you want to pair to the console.

Update the controllers' firmware can fix several issues.

After that, find the manual of that controller, the one came with the controller or online

#

then find the combination to reset it to factory settings

#

then pair again

Check if there's a remapping section and try to remap the back paddle buttons

#

Did they work normally before this?
