why dont you just disconnect the joycon from the other switch then?
just disconnect it
its obviously wirelessly connected to it
im telling you
remove the connection on the other one
the other remained connected to the first switch
- already done that
- it wont work in games if one is connected on the switch and one is conencted wirelessly
cus its considered 2 different controllers
its works wirelessly with the switch
im telling u.. it wont pair with ur friend's switch while its connected to yours
then explain this
the fact that its still connected to ur switch
as u can see it didnt connect to ur friends
then must be an issue with the rail
.
its an issue.. with your friend's switch rail
its not an issue with the joycons
its the rail
it works on yours but not on his
explain to me how can that be except the rail being broken
yes thats why I clicked console and not controllers
like i want to know how to fix it
if any u know how
FIX HANDHELD JOY-CON DISCONNECTING ISSUE
• Basic Troubleshooting
・ Reset the AC adapter by unplugging it from the wall for 30 seconds.
・ Make sure the Joy-Con is on by observing the LED lights on the rail.
・ After that, slide it into the Switch.
・ If there is a response on the screen, or a click sound, it means the rail is still working.
・ Go through Nintendo's trouble-shooting guide.
・ Remove all controllers pairing using this procedure.
・ Process to the cleaning instructions below if your Joy-con still have issue.

JOY-CON LOCK REPLACEMENT
§ The Joy-con is attached to the Switch's rail via a locking mechanism, often called locks.
• Due to the modular nature of the Joy-con, it's normal to have a degree of "play" movement on the rail, even when they are brand new.
• Since the locks are made of plastic, they will wear out through usage, leading to even looser attachment and even unintended disconnection. You can replace the locks by yourself or through a repair service.

※ Note: This might fall into the free Joy-con repair. Ask Nintendo's customer support for confirmation.
• Using a thin piece of paper/cardboard between the rails can force a stiffer attachment, but it might lead to faster wear on the locks.
• You can reduce the wear of the locks by pressing the lock button on the Joy-con deeply every time you pull it out as well as when you slide it on.
■ DIY Repair
There are 2 options to choose from: Plastic locks similar to the original ones or metal locks that are more durable.

・ Plastic & Metal locks - eBay listing
