Hello, I have a problem connecting my Switch to the TV. My dock lights up to say it's connected, but there's just no image. I even bought a second dock, but it didn't help. I've plugged in the cables in the correct order, I'm using the original Nintendo Switch power supply and I've already dusted them off. It works sometimes, but very rarely. I can't explain why that is. My TV tells me to check the power. Can someone help me please. 😦

Hi there,
Have you tested this dock+Switch combination on a different TV/monitor?
Yes, but still the same thing 😦
Can you try going into System Settings > TV Settings > then change the resolution to lowest, change RGB settings to something different, then test again?
still not working
Have you ever cleaned the USB-C on your Switch?
It's a delicate work, you need to turn off your Switch and disconnect from all power, then use IPA and a q-tip to clean it.

CLEANING GUIDELINES
§ Cleaning is not only a way to maintain hygiene but can also help prolonging the life of your console. Be sure to turn off the Switch before cleaning. And wait for any excess liquid to dry before using it.
■ For daily cleaning: Nintendo recommends using a soft cloth (microfiber is best), dampen with a bit of water, wipe gently on the surface of the console. Avoid any abrasive cleaning cloth, random cleaning compound/liquid.
■ Air vents: Clean the air vents regularly will help maintaining good ventilation, prevent overheating. You should use a squeeze blower or compressed air can to blow at the vents from an angle before wiping them.
■ For a throughout cleaning/disinfection: Please use Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), commonly known as "rubbing alcohol" (but not to mistake with ethanol). IPA 70% is most suitable, you can dilute it with water if you can't find the exact %. IPA 90% or higher % may damage rubber/plastic due to its mild solvent property. Dampen on a microfiber cloth before wiping. Do not spray directly on the device. Use q-tips for small areas.
■ To clean electrical contacts in hard-to-reach areas: Please use specialize electrical contacts cleaner spray. Useful for electrical contacts on the rails, or fixing Joy-con's joystick drifting.
