Can you try the steps below?
HOW TO CHANGE DNS
■ What's DNS? How can it help?
- Domain Name System (DNS) is an internet system akin to an address book.
- Using a better Public DNS service may improve connection speed.
- Google's Public DNS service is often recommended, which is what we will use in this guide.
■ How to change Nintendo Switch's DNS settings:
- From Home Menu, navigate to System Settings ⚙️ > Internet > Internet Settings.
- Select your network under Registered Networks.
- Select Change Settings > DNS Settings > Change it to Manual.
- Set these settings as follow:
- Primary DNS:
008.008.008.008 - Secondary DNS:
008.008.004.004
First time i hear those symptoms, for me it sometimes pops up "could not display page"
f
and then i press ok and it goes on just fine
i have done that and no change
i can update a game but i still cant access the eshop
nevermind it stopped
it is gaslighting me
Alright let's do something more drastic. Follow the steps below.
TIPS TO IMPROVE WIFI CONNECTION
§ The Switch's Wifi connection is quite weak, thus it always has issue to reach the maximum speed limit of your Internet connection. You can check the connection quality by going into Home screen > System Settings > Internet > Test Connection. To improve it, you can try these steps below:
1. Delete your Wifi connection from the Switch.
Home screen > System Settings > Internet > Internet Settings > Choose your network > Clear Settings
2. Restart your Switch by Holding the Power button until the Power option menu appear > Choose Restart.
3. Restart your router/modem by cycling its power (Turning off then on again).
4. Bring your Switch closer to the router/modem then connect to the Wifi again.
5. Add DNS to your Switch's Wifi settings. Type !tag dns for details.
○ Aside from this, you can try:
・ Using a different waveband for your Wifi, 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.
・ Changing the name of your Wifi (It will affect other devices)
・ Changing password and security settings (same as above)
・ Change the channel your Wifi is broadcasting on. Automatic mode is often not very good.
・ Set a static IP address for your Switch, following the DHCP setting on your router. Google these details to learn how.
Also, is it possible for you to test on an entirely different network?
Not the same connection, not the same internet service
It has something to do with the wifi?
i dont really get the same thing as they do but the Eshop does sometime give me the same error as they got but if i just press on ok it loads in just fine not really sure why it pops up really or why is it different for them
We don't know yet. That's why I told him to test.
sorry for the late reply but there still is no effect
also can an ethernet to usb-a work to make it faster
