my friend list is full how do i check my friend list and also how the 3ds friend list work

I can only help if its with the nintendo switch i have never had a 3ds

If its the nintendo switch please go to the main menu> to the icon on top left (your profile icon)

And you will see "friend list" right away

Press on a friend you probably want to remove since its full
