Out of mario odyssey, Metroid dread, Zelda BOTW and SS, which should I prioritise playing in handheld and which in docked? I have ordered the V2 switch and have a 1440p 120hz monitor to play on (normally play on Xbox).

Metroid probably be the one that most fine on handheld tho

Not really one to prefer

I’d say skyward sword is better in docked however

Because otherwise you won’t be able to use the motion controls to their full extent

So no, nothing wrong with playing all the big titles in handheld

you shouldnt have any issues with dread in handheld at all, botw doesnt have many other than you might have small issues with some of the shrines that use motion controls but if you run into that its fairly easy just to disconnect the joycons and do that bit in table top mode, odyssey and ss again you may run into some motion control issues but again you can play in table top, none of these games have any issues running docked, the only games that tend to are ones that require use of the touchscreen like brain age

i would say however that dread plays and controls far better with a pro controller than joycon because the aiming works better with the procontroller
