Send it in for repair or try looking up how to clean game card slot or clean the game card (the gold area)

clean the game card slot with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip, should work

If it happens to every game then it's not because of the game cart's contacts. Unless he ran all of his carts together through the mud.

@shrewd shadow I'm sorry but your cart reader is malfunctioning. You may need to send this into repair.
