A. Cheaper but joycon doesn't have good joystick, break often.
B. More expensive, but there are more option for better ergonomic, features or durability.
C. I tried this, too clunky, heavy as heck.

Nintendo Pro Controller - $70: Official full-size controller with all features for the Switch. Bad D-pad.
8bitdo Ultimate - $70 : Premium. No drift joystick. Superior software. Lack some features compare to Pro con.
Gulikit Kingkong Pro 2 controller - $69: All features, sans HDrumble. No drift joystick. On the fly macro.
IINE Wireless controller - $35.99: Full features. Quality lower than the above.

Binbok Joypad - $49.99: Has wireless. Quality lower than Hori's.
Nyxi Wizard - $69: Gamecube design. Has wireless. No drift joystick.

Tbh this is up to your own preferences and budget.
Heck, if you want to train your arms, get the fixture to save (if you already have a Pro con).

Some people find joycon just fine, some don't (me included)

I did play through BotW with joycon, but after that I rarely use it.
