Hey all,
I have Switch OLED and a GBA.
I'm looking at starting a new RPG as I just finished Zelda and loved it.
I have looked at a few websites but there are so many to choose from...So I thought I would ask here: What are your favourite most highly recommended Nintendo RPGs?
I don't love turn based combat outside of Pokemon but I am prepared to give it a go.

Fire Emblem is turn based but I find it to be extremely fun
I would recommend 3 Houses more than Engage tbh because the story is better
but the gameplay is worse than Engage
Persona 5 Royal (not Nintendo but it's Atlus) is a dungeons/story game a little like Zelda with some open world to explore the small Japan world with very smooth turn based combat that's like Pokemon but it looks better. I can't say the combat is more fun than Pokemon though, just looks a lot better. Nonetheless, P5R is top 2 most fun game I've ever played because the interactive social aspect and the dungeons are not hard but quite fun paired with stylish turn-based combat. The last arc was super good despite some big story flaws beforehand. The story is still good though, just nothing too special until the last arc
Xenoblade is very good too. I personally only played the first and third one, both are amazing. Not top 5 for me though. Story of XC1 is very good but I don't like the gameplay much. Xenoblade 3 on the other hand is fun but the story got worse at the end is my main issue with it. Neither are turn based

For starters, literally any Zelda game 
I wish I can say Resident Evil 4 Remake and any Soulsborne game but it's not RE4R is not RPG and it's not Switch. Phenomenal game though
I tried Nier Automata but the story-telling style didn't click with me. I'm not a hack and slash guy either
can't forget Mario either. I never fully played one but it's fun
