How do I use photo mode on my switch?

If you are asking about how to capture a screenshot or video:

• Click on the capture (square) button on the left joycon, once click for screenshot.
• Hold that button for a few seconds for recording video backward, maximum 30s.

On joycons it is square, however on pro controllers the symbol is always a circle, however the button itself can be a square or circle.

It's literally the same button on both controllers

and yep, there is no such thing as filters on there.
Maybe some game has it but that's not something the Switch has

I think you misunderstood that part

That part of the question is talking about a feature that is made inside the game, not by the console, and isn't available across all games.

A game's developers has to made that feature available for you to use it. And each game design their own photo-mode differently.

BotW has one but that's entirely different from something like MonHun's feature.
