It was due to "Slow Connection Speed: Wifi Status was the one dot (on switch), and flipping between 1 white dot and 1 bar (2 bars)", not sure if Test Connection would've given anything other than "Good".

I can no longer access the same situation, which Idk when and how it got fixed, although I don't want this situation where my wifi connectivity is poor again because the switch doesn’t know how to connect to poor quality Wi-Fi, only thing I can think of is too many devices were trying to use the same Wi-Fi network at the same time, however Most of the time I should be receiving priority connection to begin with.

If you see the problem again in the future try putting DNS into your internet settings and try again

• What's DNS? How can it help?
･ Domain Name System (DNS) is an internet system akin to an address book.
･ Using a better Public DNS service may improve connection speed.
･ Google's Public DNS service is often recommended, which is what we will use in this guide.

• How to change Nintendo Switch's DNS settings:
･ From Home Menu, navigate to System Settings ⚙️ > Internet > Internet Settings.
･ Select your network under Registered Networks.
･ Select Change Settings > DNS Settings > Change it to Manual.
･ Set these settings as follow:

Primary DNS: 008.008.008.008
Secondary DNS: 008.008.004.004
