You can play games that have local Multiplayer

#

The main issue is if you try to connect both switches that have the "same copy" of the game through local mp then you won't be able to play together, you can only play your gameshared game together online

#

That may not work, the switches won't connect to each other

#

You can test it out but on my own side when testing games using gamesharing using different accounts and the same copy (gameshared copy) they refused to connect unless it was online multiplayer not local multiplayer

#

Gameshared games cannot do local multiplayer with each other

#

are they connected to each other?

#

when you say local multiplayer do you mean peer to peer wireless multiplayer?

#

it would work on both switches , if they can both play at the same time there should not be an issue

GAMESHARING INFORMATION

• Game-sharing is an official feature for the Switch. Its original purpose is to let you play your digital games across multiple Switch consoles. But you are also allowed to use this feature to share games with family and friends, although the process is quite complicated.

• Game-sharing works in a Primary console and Secondary console basis. Your Primary will have no limit, while your Secondary will have several limitations.

You should be fine, just use the account that doesn't own the game on the primary switch and the main account on the secondary

It's because the method of connection varies from game to game. I can't include every single type in the guide.

For games that use local Wifi, or even ad-hoc console to console connection, it will work just fine. But there are many games that will do an online connection check before initiating the local mode, this kill any possibility to use the offline trick.

You just have to check the tech of multiplayer mode for every game
