I want to buy myself a new switch game as an christmas gift. I don’t really have a specific genre that i enjoy a lot. Just something that is longer or has a lot of replayability/no ending.
Games I have and currently enjoy include:
Pokémon violet
Pokémon BDSP
Pokemon sword
Animal crossing
Mario kart 8

I would like some general suggestions for good games any genre or type will do. Thank you in advance!

you seem to be a fan of rpgs and go for aaa games. i haven't played it myself (yet Kirby_F ) but perhaps you can look into dragon quest treasures? it just came out this month as well. quite a handful of final fantasy titles are available. i'd also consider sakuna: of rice and ruin a hidden gem if you want to introduce yourself to something completely new to you.

I know its kinda just a cop out, but botw is fantastic and depending on what you do it can take a long while to beat
