Just to confirm if it's an actual Pro con, a lot of people nowadays are confused about what it is.

@brazen forge Alright it's the correct one (At least I hope it's not a counterfeit haha)

HOW TO DELETE & RECONNECT CONTROLLER PAIRING

§ This is a method to reset controllers pairing information and can fix various controllers' connection issues. If you do not have a functional right Joy-con, you can use a different controller such as a Pro controller.

※ With the Switch console in handheld mode.
1. Detach/Disconnect all the Joy-Con and controllers from the Nintendo Switch console.
2. From the HOME Menu, select System Settings ⚙️ > Controllers and Sensors > Disconnect Controllers.
3. Hold down the “X” Button on the right Joy-Con until the blue circle is fully illuminated.
4. Attach or connect any Joy-con and controllers you want to pair to the console.

Update the controllers' firmware can fix several issues.

And then pair your controllers back

#

And go to System Settings > Controllers and Sensors > Input devices test

#

test your buttons in there

the buttons are ok i guess my fingers are too big and i accidentally press a little on the center of the dpad while playing playing when im not looking at the controller making it accidentally press another buttons

d-pad

If it's the D-pad then unfortunately.... it's just shitty like that

#

The D-pad for the Pro con is infamous for being bad

brazen forge
#

oh

atomic radish
#

There's a fix for it if you are willing to open your controller up

brazen forge
#

its ok ill just get used to pressing the corner of the buttons

atomic radish
#

It will still register wrong input though

#

You can use that testing menu to confirm

#

if it's not that bad then up to you

#

But in the case you want to open it up and fix it

#

These are the D-pad contacts with tapes covering half of them

#

That's the fix haha

Ive never opened anything up and i bought the controller for 80 euros so im not willing to risk it😅
