After updating the system version, my internet just stops working
This is the second time and I don't know how to fix it(last time it just started working again after a while)
I type in the correct password, and my other switch on the same version at the exact same spot has no issue with this

Having the same issue after the update. Apparently is something about the hesh connection on the fiberhome routers who repeat the signal between then. There’s some networks who start with ‘fh’ that are my routers… just don’t know what to do now. My internet provider said that they can’t do nothing and I have to contact Nintendo support service but who knows how long of if they will fix that.

Hmm I smell several different issues here, but it's best to separate them

TIPS TO IMPROVE WIFI CONNECTION

§ The Switch's Wifi connection is quite weak, thus it always has issue to reach the maximum speed limit of your Internet connection. You can check the connection quality by going into Home screen > System Settings > Internet > Test Connection. To improve it, you can try these steps below:

1. Delete your Wifi connection from the Switch.
Home screen > System Settings > Internet > Internet Settings > Choose your network > Clear Settings
2. Restart your Switch by Holding the Power button until the Power option menu appear > Choose Restart.
3. Restart your router/modem by cycling its power (Turning off then on again).
4. Bring your Switch closer to the router/modem then connect to the Wifi again.
5. Add DNS to your Switch's Wifi settings. Type !tag dns for details.

○ Aside from this, you can try:
・ Using a different waveband for your Wifi, 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.
・ Changing password and security settings (Yes, it's weird)
・ Change the channel your Wifi is broadcasting on. Automatic mode is often not very good.
・ Set a static IP address for your Switch, following the DHCP setting on your router. Google these details to learn how.

As for @sonic wagon, is your Wifi from the same FiberHome router like the other?

・ LAN adapter works better with the USB port on the back of your dock.
・ You can use an USB-A to USB-C adapter for handheld/tabletop mode or with Switch Lite.
・ Aside from official ones, other LAN adapters may make the Switch slightly heat up in sleep mode. You can get rid of this by turning off the always connect setting in System Settings > Sleep Mode > Maintain Internet Connection in Sleep Mode.
