Because the rail was wear off on the first glance
I have 2 switch's, I used my official joycon. But nope it doesn't detect
oh that's unfortunate, i dont think i can help you. if you replaced it properly then its probably a board issue at this point and we dont have a schematic to know what might be affected by the rails failing, maybe @strange fable would know something
Oh I see. Appreciate
What the, I didn't see the ping at all ><
My bad.
@final linden Have you tested that side with different joycon?
Sorry for late reply, no I don't have a spare joycon, I used my original switch joycon and they works fine with the console
They both r official joycon
What I want to know is if the joycon's rail was the cause or the rail on the Switch was the cause.
In order to know that, we have to test multiple working joycon on the same rail you are repairing here.
Maybe you can borrow someone's? Or at a store?
The switch tablet I'm repairing right now I bought it for second hand, it didn't came with the joycon ( the seller state the left side of the tablet can't detect joycons). And I have a spare switch that I bought on store (so I'm positive the joycon is working), so I use that pair of joycon to test, still no luck, after cleaning motherboard too
@strange fable
Let me direct you to some place that can answer repair question better.
Thank you!
