So, I bought a new Switch controller that will connect to my laptop, but won't connect to my desktop. My old switch pro controller connects properly to both. The orange charge light will only turn on when the PC is booting, but it won't stay on when Windows loads. I have been pulling my hair out trying to understand this.

Switch controller is a very generic term. What brand is it from? Do you know the model name?
