Using a Corsair Strafe Mk.2, I've been trying for hours to get this thing to input anything on the switch with absolutely no luck. I've been trying to do it when the on screen keyboard is up, specifically adding text to a screenshot I've taken, but it isn't recognizing any input. I've tried every usb port on both a normal and OLED dock, with both my normal and OLED switch in each.

I'm getting to the point where I'm guessing this is just some kind of keyboard specific issue, but I'm hoping maybe someone has some magic solution that can resolve this.

Do other keyboards work with your Switch?

unfortunately i don't have any other keyboard laying around i can test out with. the keyboard works fine on my pc though

Does the keyboard require a special driver on your PC?

there is one, but it doesn't require it

i think it just handles some of the RGB

Hm. It may be that the keyboard is incompatible with your switch. The only way to know for sure is to test with another keyboard, preferably a basic one

i dont think it could be a switch/dock specific issue. like i said, tried two different switches in two different docks (regular/OLED)

like i said, don't have another keyboard i can test with.. which is why i made the post, to see if there was some other fix available

or if someone had an experience with this and could confirm it was specific to the keyboard model

Some USB keyboard won't work for some reason, best guess is driver issue.

Funny enough, all the reports of non-working ones are from gaming keyboard

the weird thing is when i plug it in, it lights up like normal. so i wonder if the switch can only support powering the RGB and the actual keys don't work properly, or something along those lines

not trying to play a game. just want the switch to recognize input from it at all
the real answer is, i'm trying to use a homebrew application with it, but i don't know if i should talk about that here. so for now i'm just trying to get a normal switch to even recognize it
