The Jays have a better record through 135 games than they did in 2021

#

In 2021 our offense was dominant but our pitching was not as a whole. We were 73-62 through 135 games and further back of the division lead.

Here we sit at 74-61, ready for meaningful September baseball which is the most important thing for the regular season. Situations flipped, we have the best pitching but offense has not performed to peak standards.

Now is all that matters. How we finish is key, especially heading into the playoffs.

I'm excited for the finish. There have been some tough watches this year but I think an awesome September can erase a lot of that, just like most have forgotten the 2021 Jays were only 7 games above 500 entering September.

We will have some interesting conversation 1 month from now either way.

Go Jays go!!

The Buffalo Native was working when a steel beam fell on his head causing a massive head injury. As a result of the incident, his brain began to swell and his spinal cord ruptured resulting in paralysis in his right arm and lower body.

On September 1st, he passed out because he was suffering from severe bleeding. He was rushed to ICU where doctors had to free the diapraghm from pressing on his lungs. He unfortunately never woke up from that night. He was in a drug induced coma and he never did wake up.
