No third, 2nd master builder can move to home base and make 6th builder as well if you didn’t know. The requirements are all gear ups (cannon, archer and mortar), maxed level cannon carts (18), maxed mega tesla (9) and maxed battle machine (30)

well looks like builder barbs have priority for upgrades. used power potion cause i needed to and level 16 barbs absolutely melt stuff (with support from level 16 archers and level 16 wall breakers) so cannon cart will have to wait.

Am finding that spreading the defences out is better at th9. Have seen hogs completely crush clumped defences. There is a meta base atm (have screenshotted off bb links), that anyone with max lvl hogs should be able to crush using an all hogs army.
The bases I have struggled with have a th with a strategic clump of Tesla + hidden teslas defended by some air defences to prevent hogs stun effect. Placing the roaster opposite this with a couple of crushers nearby completely wipes my hog army, am currently working out the best technique against this.
(Hoping that those reading this know using hogs it's best to stun crushers, mega Tesla and then the roaster, d cannons etc. in that order if at all possible.)
Looking forward to trying another base build but still cant bear my current one. End up concentrating all my defences on one side so it's super weak from the opposite side lol.

Like in my range,i get attacked by max troops but my defenses aren't even lvl 8 yet except roaster and mega tesla, but i always attack max bh8/better bases 🤦 what am i doing wrong.i rushed to bh9 and im being punished for it

My defensive buildings are under-leveled so I moved my more powerful buildings to a central location. People choose to attack me from the sides and haven't been successful.
Do I stay with this until it stops working?
Should I upgrade my level 1 mortar, tesla, roaster, giant cannon, air bomb, crushers, etc if my main plan is to rush? Level 1 mortar in particular seems pitiful.

try this one. it can hold pekka cart combo. and baloon minion. except if u met players with sneaky archers, they could take about 70% from this base. but not always u met archer players.

I have two bh9's: one was a fully max bh8 while the other is rushed with otto requirements and most defenses level 7 or lower. I'm not pushing, I only attack for the daily loot. the former is steadily over 4700 even with defenses under upgrade, while the latter drifts randomly from 4300 to 4600.. sometimes it gets 3* many times in a row, and it seems like the base layout doesn't really matter. about that layout, I think I've seen it relatively often, but it isn't as popular as Itzu's layouts or the brackets so I guess it's good enough if you have level 8/9 defenses.

@bronze thicket I used a modified version this base to get to 3k (internet base tho). I rotated it by 90 anticlockwise and put it far right on the edge (I can't remember the small changes I made, but probably some wall and trap moving. Do not move the roaster or big cannon, it is in the ideal spot already...). It's made to be anti witch spam, but works well in general...
