Rushing in BH is the best approach, that’s why people say to rush. Obviously, you don’t have to rush, but it is the fastest way to progress.

#

Most of the upgrades cost elixir, so you will have gold available to upgrade defenses along the way

#

But getting to BH8 gives you more passive loot via collectors and the extra camps let you fight at higher leagues, which gets you more loot. More loot = faster progression

Nope, just trophy count.

To an extent. If you’re a BH8 at 1k trophies your probably won’t get matched against a BH4 at 1k trophies. It usually stays within BH levels when matching.

the issue is, loot depends on trophies and those depend on your base progress, so there's no point in not upgrading to bh8, unless you want to max bh7 for some reason

those really depend on the base you are facing. dropminion is 'easy' but the number of dropships depends on the base. 1 camp for most bracket bases

2-3 camps for diamonds

#

some diamond bases with offset bh are easier 2* 60+ with mass bbds and 1 camp minions

#

ground armies: barbs/archers with 1 camp bombers 1 camp carts

#

search youtube for bh top player attacks, there are a few less popular youtubers with relevant content

if you fail hard a base, copy it and see how others attack it

and set the traps accordingly
