Yeah, I will also upgrade my bh today, no point in struggling with base design of bh5, people do get 2* anyways and attacking bh6 requires a lot of patience but then we lose in percentage. 😦 I am at 2700 and now its not possible to reach 3k for sure with bh5

It's rarely 3 starred. If you're a good attacker and have the troops, it could probably take you pretty high. I've reached 3300, but I've only got BDs maxed, so I'm a 1-trick pony when it comes to attacking.

Level 12 witches minions and drags. BH6. Everything else is 8-9. My BM is 10. I’m at almost 4 k trophies and 1200 wins. IMO that’s all you need.. I’m not maxed defenses. All walls are level 4. I just did two walls level 5. And it was worth it.

People like to say don’t do walls. That’s because they don’t want that being the meta. Therefore making their attacks harder because people choose to level walls.
I seen the same exact attack on me go from a 60%ish one star to a 30ish zero star. Just from upgrading two walls
My cannons and two ATs. And crushers are level 5. Everything else is level 6. It’s worth it for walls.

Most will combine the Witches with Minions, Mitch combo.. but it's still very luck based..

The key with witches attacks. Drop one in the corner you’re coming from. Wait like 5 seconds. For giant bomb trigger. Then drop the rest of them. Wait a few seconds then drop the BM to run past them and soak up the fire power

Main base is different than builder in terms of approach. Strategic rushing can work for hard farmers on main base, but aside from people saying, when BB came out, that they saw max gemmed BH5 down low, it's about trophies
If I see a fully gemmed out base where I am, even lower ish 4K range, they're likely not gonna be a good attacker down this low
Builder hall base, you need to rush. Go bh6, the new buildings make a big difference they say. Even at lvl 1. And the roaster.....

I'd argue most attacks are pretty brain dead. 90% of people who attack me do it the exact same way without any kind of variation. Witches? Spam top corner. Bombers / barbs, hit one side and spam in groups. Archers / barbs, hit open side SLOWLY and send in BM at end and hope for best.

@magic matrix well the season reset was 2 days ago and it was to 4k, and probably only like 1000 total players are above 4k so intentionally dropping is probably unlikely
@dim minnow did you get the BH7 pack that gave you the cannon as level 4? otherwise yeah getting the new army camp is your first step, and then I'd say upgrading your new firecracker and tesla to be equal with everything else is your gold priority
