Tho Pathing/funneling is key. If you dont do it well you're gonna see a lot of 1 stars or 2 stars

Ive had more luck with air attacks than ground ones because i see a lot of compartment bases which makes difficult for pekkas to get in and need more tactical with the bomber giant

You will always encounter different base layout and there is no single strategy to counter all.
So for multiple strategy:
Cannon mortar cart + baby dragon
Mortar cart + pekka
Dropship + pekka

It will take a very high amount of defences though. It also bleeds your trophy count (therefore further reducing income from future defences)

And that’s not even factoring in the fact that you should hypothetically be going up against weaker bhs the lower you go

If ur f2p or want to spend wisely the rune is lowkey the worst thing you can do

I’m in Iron III and half of my defences are 6 stars. That’s about 30,000 elixir (!) per defence half of the time. The other ones are those who spare me (more often maxed players) or who fail to get past the first stage

You can get what you want in time if you grind hard enough, but unfortunately play time for most people isn’t unlimited

The best part is the more defenses you do the higher chance of you getting someone else doing the same. So you will auto win some defenses

You will lose some star bonus income but if you’re grinding for the hero levels I’d say it’s worth it to sacrifice some of that short term gain everyday to increase elixir overall

A maxed bh7 can push to 3k trophies as well as a rushed bh10 with a couple decent defenses. Just need to engineer your base to counter like 1 specific attacka nd know how to use your units to 6 star every time so you slowly climb over time. Otherwise, only way is to upgrade your defense.

Hi, I’m new to base building and I am having this one for a while. I built it myself and took inspiration from a popular base layout. But I kinda changed most of the layout. I was rushing 3K trophies and at that rank my base got 200% no matter what. Now that I’m farming and I’m in brass league it gets 2-5 stars. With most of them 2 star, few 4 and very few 5. Is there anything I could change? I already looked into trap placement so I feel like that’s correct for the most part but feel free to give feedback on how I can improve this.

I made something new now for first stage after tweaking for some hours

It’s probably gonna change but main this will be sort of main layout

we dont talk about the 2nd stage, its garbage lol. I spent most my time tweaking the 1st stage, its supposed to be an anti air bb, cuz a lot of my opponents attack with nightwitches (99%) so im trying to deal with that. But there are 2 main problems:

• this layout relies too much on the lava launchers dmg, and since its lvl 1, it goes slow even with my nw being lvl 10 only. my previous base literally handles nightwitches better cuz it has more ground dmg output, soo any suggestion or solution apart from the obv upgrading?
• the nightwitches can reach the air bombs which i did not expect, what could be a solution?

and for the 2nd stage im not really sure what to do yet, you guys have any ideas?
just something random that i just noticed, the giant cannon looks really unprotected and its pretty valuable, could maybe move that push trap from the th and place it in front pushing to the down right so it goes to the crusher?

As for the first stage they certainly deploy night witches on the left side then use their ability at the right time to destroy the roaster, the air bombs and the lava launcher

just the raw dps output of double cannons is more significant, that very important in defending pekka hits (the only common ground attacks you gonna see)

sometimes i 6 star a base and also get 6 star’d and i lose 50 trophies

their attack finishes before me so its not like: I am finishing the attack, gaining 50 trophies, then losing that 50. im just completely losing trophies. i start a battle at 2950, we both 6 star, then im at 2900

I use carts and baby drags

The baby drags take out all the long range defenses(archer tower,lava launcher, multi mortar,giant cannon)
Then the cannon carts snipe out remaining buildings

The composition is either 2:4/3:3/4:2 of cannon carts: baby drags

More long range defenses=more baby drags

For rushing 6th builder? Or for normal play through?
For rushing, you just get into a match drop a troop and leave. And at some point you'd be balanced at some league and you'd have to be at that league to farm quick elixir. If you don't and climb up for more elixir per match, the opponent may be strong and able to 6 star your base. And say if you wanna earn more in your star bonus, just climb up trophies before your bonus activates and in that process you'd get gold fast while being efficient. All this is my planning and has gone very well and I'm omw to get the 6th builder aswell.
For normal play through, ig get as high as possible

No.. this is my opinion for builder base.. concerning home, i think yes.. some people wait until upgrades take longer time.. but i think that will take time.. so it depends.. just always try to use hammers on longer updates
