A little tip i have for any th8/9's is that the walls in th9 will take you longer than any other th (aside from 11/12 but then if you're a th11+ res wont/shouldnt be a problem) , i started my th9 journey with lvl 6 walls, th7 tech and th7.5 def
in 3 months time i had lvl 8/9 walls, th8.5 tech and th9 def
What did i do? i pushed to champion 3, stayed in 3200/3300 for a weeks time, got every wall to lvl 9 (and some to lvl 10), did some tech (used books like 4 times) and got my entire base to be a lot better and harder to 3*
When i hit th10 i dropped to master 3 and farmed there, i became a th10 5 months ago, a month ago i did a push to champion 2 so that i could max my base out again, i went from having 2 or 3 builder doing something to 5/5 (granted, it was a scaryyyyy time cus i had like all my archer towers going up, then wizzies and i was losing more defences than i wanted but once i was maxed, i was harder to 1* 😛
