today I learned that many professional athletes are born in Autumn because they are at peak physical development compared to their peers for their given year in school (IE they start the school year in higher physical shape than studens who were born in spring of the same school year)

In Norway everyone born in lets say 2005 would be in the same grade

personally, I have a 3 year old so I'm not sure how it works exactly, but I can give you more info in about 3 years when we start looking at schooling 😄
