Hi Jay3, I am a previous qm warrior and in s4.5 I decided to pick up comp. I climbed to Plat 3 in S5 in a couple of days, and didn’t pick up ranked again until S6. I had a duo throw my first 3 placements, so I got put in silver and it has been hell since.

Look Jay, I know everyone blames their teammates, but I have genuinely seen the most horrid staggering, incapabilities to turn around, and not a single peeler. I SHRED through gold matches when my team works together, but they refuse to even have a mic on. The first VOD is me on Emma, and when I switch to Magik you’ll see just how good I am. I know how to peel, flank, brawl, and dive on Magik, and my target priority is really good. My coms and callouts literally almost saved this game, but no one could hold the front when I died, and when I was tanking no one would dive the healers or Hela. My strange did pop off a little and my healers weren’t bad, they just had no one protecting them from SW. The enemy team was also not very good, the picks I pulled off were sometimes too easy. On top of everything, the enemy team APOLOGIZED to me and told me I didn’t deserve the loss 💔

I think I deserve GM! Or at least diamond! I learned my Magik from Kingsman, and I make sure I’m never toxic and give constructive feedback. I desire to play on my level and I’m tired of the lack of teamwork and coms. Call me Queensman, perhaps.

idk about deserving all the way to gm, prolly high plat-diamond

if you SHOULD be in gm you should be stomping gold one way or another, i held a win rate of around 80-90% till i hit gm

yea, i have for the most part. my placements were thrown by my own duo so i’ve had a rough time climbing

i got to plat in a week the season before, it took me a month this time

essentially though if you want to climb, you need to be a goddess at DPS

I used to be a hardcore DPS main over summer. eventually i became lazy, started flexing healer a lot.

It wasn’t until i started hard carrying on DPS that i hit GM

my biggest tip which seems obvious is to slow the pace of the game for your opponents

Magik is a great character for that

lot of sustain to be had, you can be somewhat independent from your healers and pick your engagements well

what we do is a hard job, nobody wants to admit that, but it is, as long as you are bringing value you’re good

The reason why I said i wont fill tank on my alt account in plat is because technically it would be smurfing if I did

I feel like it also wouldn't be fair to everyone in the lobby too
