Hello everyone. I'm new to the server.

I've just started a Trench crusade warband and would to ask if anyone has some advice on weathering the models (in particular the armour). My idea for these models is to not go full Grimdark but create the feel of weathered and well used equipment.

Generally you'll want to think about what state they kep their gear in. If they don't care then lots of dirt and rust will be fitting>

But if it's soldiers that would keep their gear in good shape but are still see heavy combat then you'll want to do more dust, scratches, and paint chipping.

A good one do is take any painted areas and paint in chips and scraches in a darker or lighter tone, then on the largest chips you can take just a little metal colour and paint it in, so it looks like exposed primer and the metal showing underneath on the really big scratches.
